Technical SEO checklist before launching a website.
This is the minimum list we use before launching or fixing a professional website, to avoid basic indexation and rendering errors.
Indexation
Check robots.txt, sitemap.xml, redirects, canonical, noindex, duplicate pages and Search Console rendering.
- Sitemap returns 200
- Canonical points to the right domain
- Legal pages can stay noindex
HTML and content
Each page should have a unique title, useful description, clear H1, ordered headings, internal links and enough content to answer search intent.
Performance and experience
Core Web Vitals, images, fonts, CSS, accessibility, contrast, keyboard focus and stable layout are part of the SEO base.
01Should I submit the sitemap manually?
Yes. After launch, submit the sitemap in Google Search Console and confirm that it is fetched without errors.
02Does schema help rankings?
It helps Google understand the page and can improve result presentation. It does not replace content and authority.
03What should be checked after launch?
Search Console coverage, indexed pages, Core Web Vitals, 404 errors, redirects and queries that begin generating impressions.
